DMCA / Copyright Takedown Policy
DMCA Takedown Process for GayNode
GayNode (gaynode.com) follows the DMCA rules under 17 U.S.C. § 512 for handling copyright takedown requests.
What We Do
GayNode lists and embeds videos that are hosted on other sites. When you request a takedown, we remove the video listing from gaynode.com only. The actual video file stays on the third-party host, which has its own process for removing content.
How to Send a Notice
Send your takedown notice to our Copyright Agent using the contact form at contact page.
What Your Notice Must Include
- The URL(s) of the listing(s) you want removed
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
- Your contact information
- A statement made in good faith that the video is being used without your permission
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- Your signature
How We Handle Notices
We process complete notices within a few business days. If your notice is missing information, we’ll contact you to ask for what’s needed. We accept counter-notices under § 512(g). If a source repeatedly causes valid takedown requests, we remove it from our index.
